The One-Person Business

Start Your One-Person Business Without Feeling Lost & Overwhelmed

For those that have skills, interests, and passions but struggle to build a low-effort high-income in the age of opportunity.

The One-Person Business

Everyone is quitting the 40-hour workweek because they are tired of the lies they’ve been sold.

They’re tired of always being on the verge of replacement.

They’re tired of having no ownership in the work they are doing.

They’re tired of prioritizing work they don’t care about over their health, relationships, and mental well-being.

They’re tired of putting on a mask as soon as they step into the office. It’s exhausting not to be yourself every day for 40 years.

They’re tired of paying tens of thousands of dollars for an education that does not guarantee the ability to repay that debt.

And most of all, they’re tired of sitting around doing meaningless work, feeling as if they are wasting a third of their day that drains them for the other third, which makes them want to stay up late to “get the most out of their time,” which ruins the last third.

If you don’t sell your own product, you will be forced to sell someone else’s.

You can complain all day about how “everyone is selling something nowadays,” but you are missing the point behind that.

Yes, everyone is selling something because they have to if they (1) want to survive (2) contribute to humanity and (3) receive money in return.

Another point:

People only invest in what they care about.

Most people fall into two camps:

(1) They have a job where they don't see how products are sold or how money is made, so they don't understand sales (2) They think selling is bad and only want to focus on their creative work. But because they avoid selling, they often struggle financially.they do not understand it.

You have $100,000 trapped in your head.

Or, it’s lying around in your Google Drive, Notion, or Apple Notes.

The point is:

You have skills, interests, and some kind of expertise you can package up into a product that sells while you sleep.

Here’s the thing…

If you want to earn an independent income _and_ have control over your time, you need a product.

This should be obvious.

It’s liberating once you realize that if you can make $1, you can make $1,000,000, if you have a product that is capable of reaching that scale as one-person.

You can start a side hustle, a full time income, or even a remote career.

Your location doesn’t matter.

This works whether you’re in the UK, US, Canada, Europe, Australia, or anywhere in Africa.

Turn Yourself Into The Business

If you've solved a problem in your life, you're qualified to start a business.

Not just any business, an education business with minimal startup costs.

Once you have cash to invest in your dreams of owning a huge company, you can, or you can sail off into the sunset and enjoy the free time you have.

How do you do it?

As one person.

First, understand why people buy a product.

They want to see a transformation.

They want to see a slight or drastic improvement in one area of their life.

They want to increase their market value through skill acquisition, productivity, and self-improvement.

They want to make more money, free up time, and increase their quality of life.

So, we start with the eternal markets.

Health, wealth, relationships, and happiness.

If you have experience in any of those domains, you're good to go.

That is how we position any product we sell.

Now, follow these steps:

Turn yourself into your customer avatar

List out your interests.

List out your goals.

List out your problems.

List out the exact steps to overcome the problem and achieve the goal.

The problem and goal = the transformation for your marketing.

The steps to reach the goal is your system for getting results.

Slap a compelling name on the system and it's unique to you.

Now, turn it into a course, coaching, cohort, workshop, template, checklist, system, tutorial, program, tracker, or anything else you’ve seen other brands or creators sell.

Build For Yourself, Sell To Yourself

Most businesses fail because they try to solve a problem they haven't experienced.

"But Patrick, I still don't know what to sell!"

Look at almost any successful entrepreneur.

What do they do?

They solve a problem in their life and sell the solution.

From bars of home-formulated soap that helps with eczema to a habit tracking Notion template or self-taught meditation practice.

Some general rules of thumb to follow:

Build a product you've used before, but better.

Build a product you want but doesn't exist.

Build a product that solves a problem in your life.

You are the most profitable niche.

When you build a product that you would use...

And sell it under your own name...

To people that have a similar personality, interests, and goals...

You eliminate most competition.

ARE YOU OVERWHELMED?

Who Is This For?

It doesn't have to be complicated.

I've taught over 2000+ creators.

There is always one thing that they struggle with the most:

Confidence, clarity, and execution around their brand, content, and products.

That's why I created this bootcamp.

I feel like every creator should have the skills to turn their creative work into a sustainable income.

(So that you don't become a starving artist).

But the systems and strategies that gets results are what most creators struggle with.

This program is for you if:

  • You don't know what skills to learn that allow you to turn your creative work into a sustainable income.
  • You hear everyone talk about the opportunity in the creator economy but aren't sure where to start.
  • You don't understand the basics of marketing, sales, and persuasion because you've been given work your entire life (you haven't had to hunt for your own work).
  • You don't know what type of product or service to sell that will bring in the most revenue.

In this one-person business bootcamp, you will learn:

  • The Digital Economy – A solidified understanding of the new digital economy and how to take advantage of it.
  • The Creator Mindset – How to remove your money-dependence from your employer to earn for yourself.
  • Skill & Curiosities – How to blend your interests in a way that makes you unique.
  • The Evergreen Markets – How to position your content and products for maximum engagement and sales.
  • Products & Services – The best thing to build & sell at the start of your journey to make an income (relatively) fast.
  • Distribution Networks – How to get in front of more people to build an audience and find customers.
  • Awareness & Attention – Learn to capture attention no matter who is reading your content.
  • The Greatest Skill – Learn ethical persuasion and influence so you don't have to scam, cheat, or deceive your audience.
  • The Keys To Success – Start learning the optimal way by building in public.

CREATE OR BE CREATED

If You Don't Have A Product,
You Don't Control Your Income

A digital-first approach.

"I want to start a business, but which one do I start? And how do I start it?"

I get it.

When you think of starting a business, so many questions start flooding in.

When I realized that a 9-5 wasn't for me, I did everything in my power to get out before other life responsibilities get in.

But that meant I didn't have an employer to give me a paycheck every month. It was all on me now. Every part of the business. The thought of that overwhelmed me.

Do I need money to start?

Wtf is an LLC?

Taxes? Oh god.

Can I do something related to my interests?

Or should I sell out now and try to make money fast?

I would latch onto any quick and "profitable" business model I could find.

I tried dropshipping.

I tried a Facebook ads agency.

I tried a content marketing and SEO agency.

I tried freelance photography and editing.

I tried digital art on social media.

Each and every one of those businesses failed.

(Well, they didn't really fail, I just stopped.)

But the skills I stacked during that time made it click for me:

All successful businesses have 2 things in common:

1) They have somewhere to generate traffic.

This could be anything from social media to paid ads to podcast sponsorships or posting in Facebook groups.

2) They have somewhere to host and accept payment for a product or service.

This could be a Shopify store, an invoice software for freelance clients, or something like a course platform.

But that's still super broad and confusing.

The question now is, what can you start doing right now

As one person.

Without investing your life savings.

In a way that works with any skill or interest…

And can be scaled as far as you want to go?

THE ONLINE OPPORTUNITY

Introducing: The One-Person Business

Unblock limiting beliefs.

We don't live in the industrial age anymore.

There are more options than the outdated path of "go to school, get a job, maybe start a local physical business that costs tens of thousands along the way, and retire at 65."

You have access to the internet for goodness sake.

You have access to internet courses where you can learn almost anything much faster than you could with a traditional education.

And luckily, you're at that point in history where there are so many tools out there.

You can whip up a website with the click of a button.

(Which used to take 10 web developers to create).

You can post a random idea to social media and have 10,000 people see it (on the _very_ low end).

And if you have a product or service, all it takes is having a tiny fraction of those people pay you for your skillset and knowledge.

And that's just one social post! Imagine if you had a streamlined system to focus on every morning.

In The One-Person Business LaunchPad, we are focused on making your first $5K.

That's getting a measly 5 people to purchase a $1000 service.

And yes, I help you create that too (based around your own skills and interests).

Here's what you receive that makes it very difficult to fail:

✅ The fastest way to setup your store, website, blog, and newsletter all at once.

✅ The fundamentals of online business. In other words, we answer the question, "How do I _actually_ make money outside of a job?"

✅ The 3-point marketing strategy so you know exactly how to get customers (it's like a $40,000 marketing degree condensed into 3 sentences.)

✅ A one-page business plan so you don't get stuck after finishing this course.

✅ Learn a streamlined style of digital marketing that you can repeat over and over again (no matter what you decide to sell from freelance services to physical products or digital products).

✅ A complete breakdown of what to sell, how to sell it, and where to sell it (since the internet can get confusing).

✅ Make your first $5-$10K with a "micro offer" that you can start selling immediate

✅ Make your first $5-$10K with a "micro offer" that you can start selling immediately.

✅ How to turn your interests into a valuable offer that people want to pay you for

And of course, a few bonues:

⚡️ Templates to write your first 10 social posts, 3 threads, and 1 newsletter (that attract and gain customers).

When you think of starting a business, so many questions start flooding in.

⚡️ Templates for your marketing strategy and offer creation that you can refer to at any time.

⚡️ Tutorials and walkthrough of the software you will be using to accept payment for what you plan to sell.

All-in-all…

I created this course for my past self.

This is the course I wish I had so I didn't waste my time failing at 7 business models that didn't fulfill me.

This is what I would do if I wanted to fast-track my way to $5K and beyond.

If you want to stop living in your head wondering when and if you should start the damn thing, maybe now is the perfect opportunity.
